About

I’m a product manager at Capital One modernizing agent and phone channel platforms and a UX Design student in the University of California, San Diego’s Extended Studies division.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021 with degrees in computer science and information science. My concentration was in human-computer interaction where I first discovered how technology, psychology, and design influence the products I use everyday. During this time, I took introductory UX courses and even completed my first prototypes, but it wasn’t until my full-time role that my interest in a design career intensified.

As a product manager, I may spend most of my day prioritizing or refining intent for the team, but it’s when I collaborate with my design partners, collect user feedback on my product, and participate in user research sessions that I feel the most energized by my work. As I noticed this pattern emerging, I decided to pursue further education in UX and take on side projects to sharpen my skills as a designer. These days, I’m typically searching for unique design challenges or learning new tools—with a little bit of time for traveling, learning languages, and creating (non-pixelated) art sprinkled in too.
